BR 2-18: The Nutcracker ( Emma Helbrough, 2006)



Review
Favorite line: "The Land of Sweets!" the prince replied, p.36, l7
The Nutcracker was very brave and I thought he was very cool. It is the special present for girl. I like this line, because the Land of Sweets looked very delicious. When I watched that page, I wanted to eat sweets. The story was very cute. I wanted to read this story when I was the child.

Favorite line: "Just then, the hen clucked, flapped her feathers and laid a golden egg." p.35, l.6
I thought Jack was very brave, because he took the hen from giant. If I were there,  I couldn't take it. The giant was very scary. However, I want to the hen which lay golden eggs. I want to money like Jack. But, Jack and his mother were very poor. So I was very glad that Jack took the hen to his house.

Mr. Rose stole from witch's garden. I thought it was bad, but the thing the witch took Rapunzel to her house was more worse. When the prince found Rapunzel, I took a deep breath. I thought the prince was very cool. They were married, so I was very happy. Their children may be very cute, I think. I enjoyed reading this book.

BR 2-15: Stories of Dogs ( Russell Punter, 2007)


Review
Favorite line: "Sprite won first prize for catching the thief" p.16, l.5
Sprite was very clever. He found who had the gold cup. I like dogs, so I didn't like the thief. Because he step Sprite's leg. However, Sprite bit the thief's leg. My feeling became clear. I wanted to say "Good job!" to Sprite. I was very glad that Sprite won the first prize.

BR 2-14: Stories of Magic Ponies ( Susanna Pavidson, 2007)

Favorite line: "Butterflies danced over her back and a garland of flowers hung from her neck." p.16, l.2
Her was very beautiful without showy clothes. The garland of flowers were very cute. The ill-natured pony looked regrettable, but I was very happy that. I thought she was very beautiful, but she was never chosen for the queen. There are a lot of good pictures in this book, so they made me happy.

Favorite line: "All snowman come alive at night." p.13, l.2
Snowmen were very cute. One snowman helped the boy. I thought they are very kind to people. And the other snowman caught the thief, so they were brave. If the snowman is alive in the real, I want to play together! I will make a lot of snowmen. It may be fun.

There are a lot of elves in the factory. There are very cute. There are some jobs, so I thought it was very interesting. They used machines, so there were high tecnology. I was surprised at that. Santa and elves were very busy. Howevery, it was written the holiday of Santa. He looked busy in holiday, but he looked very happy. I like this book very much!

Favorite line: "Zak and Beela peeked around the mirror." p.40, l.5
The cockatrice was very scary. The face was hen, and the body was snake. I saw its legendary animal the first. It was very strange. I like this line, because the cockatrice was dead by watching itself on mirror. If it is still alive, a lot of animals and people will be killed by it.  If it is real,  I will run away as my possible.

Favorite line: "He's rescued me! said the princess", p.10, l.6
The man looked kind. However, he didn't look stronger and brave. I thought that he didn't become the prince. Howevery, he helped the princess. I was a little surprised. He was good prince. The king permit to marry, I was very happy. I like happy end, so it made me happy.

Favorite line: "The coffin slipped and the apple flew from Snow White's mouth", p.45, l7
I was very surprised at the way of Snow White reviving. It was very easy. When I was the child, That way was kiss to prince. They were difference. I thought this book's way wasn't good. The prince was not cool in that way. The seven dwarfs were very cute and I like them.

The maid is very kind girl. I thought I want her to become the princess, so I was very glad the girl became the princess. She was very kind to the man whom she didn't know. The prince's choice was the best, I think. Other princesses are not kind to people. I like this story very much. I want to be kind to people like her.

There are some presents which are very interesting. The last present is the bag which are something the human want. It is like dream. I want that bag. The girl hoped the parents come back. I was surprised at their parents really came back. I was very glad when she looked happy. I think she was lonely. So Their parents coming back must make her happy.

HW 2-10: My favorite book

My favorite book is "Shokubutu Zukan". It is love story. The woman, her name is Sayaka, met the man. His name is Itsuki. He was tired and he didn't have money to buy food when Sayaka found him in the way. She took him in her house. After that, they live togater, and they were fallen in love. Itsuki know about a lot of plants. They go out to find plants which people can eat. They took them, and cook well. Istuki is good at cooking. Sayaka loves his dishes. But Istuki went out somewhere. Sayaka was very sad, but she still loved him. After a year, he came back. He finished things which he had to do. Sayaka was very happy. They were married. After I finished reading this book, I was very happy. And I want to eat Istuki's dish.

Favorite line: "Diana loved her young brother.
She was very beautiful. She has a lot of experiences in love. Her fashion sense is very good. When I watched her pictures, I was surprised. Because she was the princess. She looked like fashion model. She loved her little brother. I felt happy to watch their picture. Diana and her brother were very cute.

Review

Favorite line: The famous Hollywood sign up in the hills above Beachwood Canyon was put up in 1923, p.g13 to 14.

I didn’t know what things there are in California. There are parks, highway, China town, and more. I am interested in the Hollywood sign. It is very famous. It was put up in 1092. I thought it was put up in more olden days, so I was little surprised. I want to go there and to see that. I also want to go to Santa Monica and Disneyland in Los Angeles.

BR 2-03: Mystery in London (Helen Brooke, 2000)



Review

Favorite line: "Which Jack do you want to speak to"  number 7.

I enjoyed reading this book very much. I like mystery, and I like expecting who criminal is. This book is very interesting, because we can choose which page we turn. For example, there are three houses. Which house do you go? I have finished reading soon.

I like that line, because it is the main selection. There are three Jack and there is the criminal. I could guess who the criminal was. I was very glad.
I think you should read this book ! It is very interesting

BR 2-02: NEW YORK (John Escott, 1995)





Review

Favorite line: "A quiet place to get away from the noise and the crowds of the city." p.7 l.4

I want to go to New York. The buildings are pretty.I like this line. This is written about Central Park. I watched the picture of Central Park. It is beautiful and sounds like good. I like nature very much, so I want to go there. If I went there, would sit on the bench and be relaxed.

I also want to see "The Statue of Liberty". It is very famous. I watched those pictures. I want to look up this.


This book is very interesting. There are a lot of good picture. I found New York was very wonderful city.

BR 2-01: ENGLAND (John Escott, 2001)


Review

Favorite Line "From here you get wonderful views"p.g.5 .L4

There are a lot of pictures. For example, there are Stonehenge, London Eye, The Lake District National Parks, and more. I am interested in England by reading this book. I thought England food taste bad, but it looks good. I want to eat them someday.

I like this line, because I want to ride London Eye. When I was junior high school student, I watched picture of that. I thought I wanted to ride that then. It looked good and the view was beautiful. If I went to England, I would ride that.

I am also interested in fashion. There are a lot of famous fashion designers in England, so I want to go shops and buy clothes.

BR 1-15: A Christmas Carol (Sims,2003)

Review
Scrooge was awful man, but he changed by seeing his dark future. I think it is not rate for everyone to start something. I want to see my future, but it is fear. If mu future is dark, I want to meet holy spirit like him. I like this story very much. I want to recommend to my friends.

BR 1-14: HAMLET (Shakespeare, 2009)


Review
"Remember me", he whispered.
I was very sad after this story. There were some people who were killed no reason. I think it makes grudge. The vengeancea vendetta makes only sadness. If my father killed by someone, I couldn't forgive that one. However, I don't want to kill someone. I think there are another things which is for father. I cried when I read this line.
